I had some fun with concepts for what my worgen druid might wear once he gets all good at druiding and stuff. A lot of the worgen druid stuff in the starting zone looks kinda voodoo-y, so I tried to combine some vaguely voodoo-esque styles with the victorian look of Gilneas, and then smush it together with some staples of existing druid gear. It was a really fun experiment!

I got my schedule mixed up at work and thought all my stuff was due a day earlier than it actually was, so I had a spare day, today. Figured I'd use it testing out some new coloring styles on this piece. Bright stuff is fun. :) I usually think it looks tacky on my own work, but I love it in other people's stuff, so I didn't let myself dull this one down. I'll have to come back later and look at it to see if I really like it, but it's working for me so far. May use the color style, at least, on a book next month.

This style still isn't quite where I want it, as far as the underpainting and linework, but yeah.

I made a tutorial from this, since people have been asking me about my coloring technique.

This must of been a fun lighting exercise. The atmosphere is simply great, a nice feel of mystery.

Druid worgen are just wonderful, and this painting of one is so excellent! Love the design of his britches and kilt, and the glowing lights in his antlered gear.

It's a Wolfalope, distant relative of the Jackalope. Bred for their sweet skills in magic.

I was just browsing around when i found this...
It looks really cool, I like it a lot!

Also, I wanted to share one of my projects with you... I've just
created an online forum for artists (of any kind). The purpose is for
them to gather, talk about art, share ideas, artwork, trade tips...
and eventually, work on some projects together...

I would love you to join us, of course if you are interested... You
can sign up for free on www.eightysixed.com...

Hope to see you there very soon!
